I haven't posted anything in 2 years. I can't believe it. I am almost 20 years old, thank god! One more year everyone:) A little update on my life. I live at home, still (when I'm not at school.) I am a junior at Bradley University. I am studying secondary education: social studies. I switched from art education to social sciences education due to the decreasing art programs in high schools. I really enjoy it. Teaching is truly my passion.
I still love music:) That hasn't changed. I was reading through my blog posts, and realized not a lot has changed with me. All those bands are still my favorite. I do love country, though. I'm a smalltown girl, loving the outdoors and wearing my boots. I've gotten very close to my roots since I've been attending school. When I was in high school, I loved country music but I never wanted to embrace my roots, I wanted to ignore them. When I got to Bradley, I realized I loved my smalltown and finally I stood out and being from a super smalltown was unique, not weird. I won't change where I am from for anything. I thought it would be a great idea to pick a song for my blog reunion:) I chose a little John Mayer. He speaks to the heart, and he can mellow just about any situation.
